Bill Hanson is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 18 years of progressive experience across public accounting, banking, and private industry. As a seasoned Controller and finance leader, Bill brings deep expertise in financial reporting, cash management, process improvement, and team leadership, helping organizations build strong financial foundations and operate with clarity and confidence.
Throughout his career, Bill has led accounting functions for complex, multi-entity organizations, including financial institutions and transportation companies. He has a proven track record of resolving historical accounting issues, implementing structured processes in previously undocumented environments, and delivering timely, accurate financial reporting to executive leadership and boards of directors.
Bill’s leadership experience includes overseeing consolidated financials, tax compliance, and
cash management across affiliated entities, as well as managing and developing high-performing accounting teams. He is known for his practical, hands-on approach and his ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights that support strategic planning and sound decision-making.
Earlier in his career, Bill gained valuable perspective through roles in public accounting and
banking, strengthening his analytical mindset and reinforcing his commitment to accuracy,
accountability, and continuous improvement.
Bill holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa and is a
licensed CPA. He brings a steady, disciplined approach to every engagement and is passionate about building well-controlled, efficient accounting operations that enable long-term success.
